so what kind of products do you guys use on your boats to keep them looking nice.

I noticed a couple guys at the lake spraying their boats down and wiping them off right after taking it out of the water.

what do you use on hull, interior, and glass (I assume glass cleaner) ?

Dish soap for the most part. I nearly never wipe mine down at the lake, but I do wash it at home every few weeks (it's in the garage for storage). I use 303 cleaner and protectant inside, and glass cleaner (whatever is handy) and Rain X on the windshield.

i wash the boat at home because the ramp is for launching/retrieving

when I get home

hook up my salt-away unit and a sprayer on the hose and rinse off the boat and trailer
hook up the salt-away unit to the muffs and flush the motor
wash the hull with mequires car wash (same stuff I clean my truck with)
clean the upholstery with 303 cleaner and protectant
clean the windows with windex or Rain X cleaner (which ever one I have handy)
clean the carpet with laundry detergent and water in a garden sprayer, brush as needed, then rinse.

Spray Nine to clean and then 303 Protectant. Don't use products that contain ammonia on your upholstery.
I wash the hull with any good car wash soap.
I use diluted oxalic acid to clean stubborn stains on the hull followed by any good boat wax. Note: use personal protection when using oxalic acid. Many toilet cleaners contain oxalic acid. I buy the powdered oxalic acid and dilute it.

thanks the 303 products is what I was hoping someone would mention. the shop had them but I wasn't sure if they were good or just something they could sell because it had a boat on the label LOL

thanks

I doubt I would be wiping mine down at the ramp. we do have a large parking area for that though at the lake I go to the most.

Gonna' have to try that out!

This is the first boat I've ever had with carpet, and I've found that cleaning that is the biggest pain. Especially all the retriever fur :)

Firm believer in preventing a mess rather than cleaning them up.

Raw water washdown throughout the day. Freshwater rinse (w/boat soap if not in a hurry) back at the dock.

Hull and interior: Two coats of Colinite paste wax in the Spring. Touch up throughout the summer.....boredom relief

Decks: Woodie Wax

Windshield (glass): Rain and or freshwater

Windows enclosure (plastic): Plexus

Vinyl seat cushions: Clorox Cleanup

Hardtop (aluminum frame): Woody Wax CPR with bronze wool

Rub Rail: Acetone

Railings and hardware: Nevr-Dull

Faux wood trim: Penetrol

one solution would be to shave the retriever prior...:behindsofa:

Colinite is what is uses on most yachts to keep the stainless from rusting. its a PITA to apply and buff out in the hot sun

only if the boat has 850. 925 works too.
