1979 Checkmate Eluder. Total rebuild, had waterlogged foam, rotted deck, stringers, and transom when I got it.

(I didn't harm any no-wake zones in the making of this photo - I promise).

There are sure some pretty boats in this thread. I don't have any interior pics of my boat, but here are a couple of the outside. The boat is a 1978 Glastron SSV-188 powered by a 1978 140 hp Johnson. Structurally the boat is original, but the interior has been replaced. The motor was rebuilt in 2005 due to the prior owner running it without oil. I acquired this as my first boat in 2005. It may turn into the only boat I will ever own.

Taho, that is an amazing boat. I am a real fan of Chrysler powered boats. I donated a great 440 block to a car club buddy for his resto of his dad's 426 Hemi powered V-drive flat bottom hotrod from back in the day. (He went with a wedge for the resto, so I guess it was more of a restification). That one ended up hitting into the 70's, maybe 80's, it was wicked, I moved away before my payback ride came up. I used to tune other's 440's and race my own on land so I am suitably impressed (read JEALOUS ) sir...

Here is my just this year 20 year old, a 1991 Hydroswift 22foot Cuddy Cabin with VolvoPenta 570 (350 4bbl 275HP) and duoprop drive. I got it going good mechanically and put in new seats but not much more. We have had it since Summer 2006.

1976 Mark Twain 200VBR powered by a newly rebuilt Ford 351w. Rebuilt the transom with a composite transom last year, original interior aside from the carpet.

1986 Sea Ray Sundancer 270 with twin 350 Mercs.... never thought of her as a classic until now but in a way it helps me feel better knowing I am still upgrading and cleaning her up.

1987 Thompson 196 Sea Rage 3.0 L Mercruiser Alpha One . Second Love what I have been looking for its portable ,economical ,and of coarse fun for boating is a labor of love .

I guess shes older than 20 years..ahhhh..1968 Starcraft Holiday, so it's yep 43 years old.
She isn't perfect, but after I painted her and massaged her back to life, she still turns a head now and then..
