CL-16 info

Anybody here ever had the top off a CL-16 sailboat? I was given a hull where the cockpit sole is soft and styrofoam beads wash out from under it. Very nice hull but the top almost has to come off at this point. I pulled the bump rail and the sides are epoxied together and have rivets that will have to be pulled or drilled. What is the best way to break the top lose from the bottom? Do you cut this seam with a saws-all?
