Chrysler outboard 4,9hp no power

I have a Chrysler 44HD 4.9hp 1975 motor, serialn. 11971. It was bought without knowing anything about it so we did a overhaul checking if everything was ok, bought some part and put it back together. No the motor is running but it lacks power. We think it might be because we have the wrong spark plug or the fuel mix is wrong. Does anyone know what type of spark plug we should use and if we are using the right fuel mix 50:1?

The original spark plug for that motor was an L10 which no longer exists and the closest cross for it is a champion L90C. Mercury actually put one of their part numbers on the plug they recommend and that part number is 33-84675M at $4 each. Fuel mix should be 50 to 1
