i have chrysler 9.9 (model no94hb serial no 3137) need info on fuel mix, plug gap and points gap. ithink this outboard is 1970 to 73 its an electric start would like an owners manual as some throtle parts and gear controls are missing

Motor is a 71.
Fuel mix is 50:1,Point gap is .020,Plugs are Champion L4J probably superceded now.gap is .030.
You probably want a parts manual if you need to identify parts.New parts will be about impossible to find.
You might try Fairwinds Marina,laings outboards or ebay for parts.

The L4J plug is best crossed over to the champion L82C plug. www.chryslercrew.com has dowloadable parts and factory service manuals for a charge.

Probably not. If you take the cowling off you will probably see rungs on top of the flywheel to hook up an emergency cord to. I use anchor rope with a knot tied to one end.
