Chrysler 7.5 lower unit ID.

I have a lower unit housing that was removed from a Chrysler 7.5 hp motor. The number on the casting inside by the impeller is 525054 and really that's about the only number I can see. Can someone ID the year or years it will fit?

If thats the one you have on ebay it's around an '83 model.

In that range they had different decals on the cover.<br />79 - the engines were tan<br />80 mulitcolor decals<br />81-82 red and black<br />83 blue and black<br />84 blue and black with small black veritcal stripes
