Chrysler 45 hp

Hi everybody. I have a 1972 Chrysler 45 hp outboard that is super slow. It has a 10x10 prop. I don't know if it is propped wrong or if there is another problem with it. Any help given would be a God send. Thank you

First any info you have will help.Year model# ser#.Boat size,load.
Any work etc.
When it runs does it start hard?You have a tach? What RPM's at WOT?
Do a compression test,spark test.Then go over the fuel system.
Ethanol is a messing with lots of stuff.
Do these things and post your results.J
