Gotta drain the manifolds in the Salt Shaker as we are getting freezing temps in this area along the coast and temps in the teens in northern Florida

So much for not needing to winterize in Florida

So, you decided to join the rest of the US? Tomorrow night we are down to 2 degrees, but next Friday we are supposed to be pushing 50 degrees ... snowing like crazy right now ...

I'm more concerned about my home, I know the boat is dry but our homes down here are not set up for this coming artic blast. the heat pump is practically worthless but I have firewood.. I suspect that the plumbers will be busy next week...

Yet nobody in the news media has uttered "climate change". This is change...🤔 We're going to have a high of -2 with 40-50 mph gusts. More trees/limbs will be coming down....
Not trying to 1 up anyone. Really....🙂

Yea I hate in when the E-Heat kicks on and the the smoke detectors go off cause it's burning the dust off the coils. I prepared yesterday, opened the doors and windows , kicked the e-heat on and turned the ceiling fans on high.

We had this long before the chants and rants of climate change activists. The year we bought this house (1992) we had a paralyzing Nor’Easter that started as wind and rain & progressed to ice and snow. Right before Christmas. In fact my friend from work got married that weekend & her whole wedding party got stranded!

0º here in Middle Tennessee this morning. We'll reach a high of 12º today, which is uncommonly cold. We'll be back over 20º tomorrow and into the 60s by weeks end, though.

Going to drop to the 20s here tonight, maybe mid-to-upper teens. We put the outboard in the down position months ago, so it's winterized. 🤓

My wife went overkill to winterize the well pipes yesterday and insulated the electrical conduit too. :LOL:

Hey, you don't want the electricity to freeze in the line and then you are out of electricity till it thaws!😂🤣

If the AC freezes in the wires, it will become DC.

For a few bucks more, why not install a frost valve spigot?
Right? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

That insulation job is on the actual well pipes that come out of the ground, along with the shutoff valve. No spigot there. 🤓

She covered all of it, including the electrical points box on top. 🙃😛
