Chris Craft Wiring Nightmare

I am looking for any advice on how to rewire my 1975 ChrisI Craft Lancer. The wiring is a complete rat's nest. From talking to local marines there is no wiring harness available for either the boat or motor. I was told to make my own. I dont know were to start. If any has suggestions please write back.

I will give you an answer but you may not like it....

YES make your own from scratch with NEW wire

I will move this and give you a link to the diagrams.

When you make your own you will see it really is easy and avoiding the rat's nest syndrome is all up to you

Bob thankyou for the wiring diagram for the instruments. Do have a diagram that shows the engine wiring? ( Starter, alternator....)
