I have a 1998 CC express 260. After I flush with the electric flush/macerator, the toilet will slowly backfill from the holding tank. This is not good(note the casual understatement). How do I fix this? I'm handy, but new to this boat and electric flush concept. I would also like an owners manual. I bought the boat used with no manual and I know I will need one!

A note about finding an owner's manual. Good luck. C-C customer support is friendly, if slow to respond, but they won't have it. They supplied me with a spec sheet but that was about it.

Your boat (as mine) was built during the time that OMC owned the company. The current C-C ownership either wouldn't or couldn't obtain the archival materials you're looking for. I search once in awhile on eBay and google but haven't come up with anything yet.

Better bet for the toilet issue might be to try the manufacturer. There might be a one-way valve in the system that's stuck or broken, but that's pure giuesswork on my part. My boat has a glorified porta-potti with a vent and pumpout, but no remote holding tank. Simpler setup than yours

Good luck and welcome to the forum!

More- our 2 boats are very similar except for 2' of length. If you DO ever find a source, please let me know. I'll do the same..

Re: Chris Craft toilet backfill

sounds like a check valve problem, or the tank needs to be pumped.
