chris craft 268 concept question

i have a 268 concept and have a question..when you take first step into cuddy there is a round access panal under rug..i was wondering if there is suppose to be a bilge pump in there....i have ones in rear just wasnt sure if one was suppose to be in front..tks

No idea if there is supposed to be one there or not ,is there any wiring going to that area ? If it was me and I had the clearance room I would put one there anyway. A lot of bigger boats sit nose heavy and water has a tendency to collect towards the bow. You can never have too many bilge pumps.

I had a 228 Concept. I think I remember a drain there. Could be completely different on a 268.
