As most know, VP Cheney went to the hospital this AM and was there for about 4 hrs for shortness of breath. It's thought it was brought on by fluid retention caused by anti-inflammatory taken for a "foot problem". Reports have said that the VP has suffered from gout in the past.<br /><br />Been there, done that. Anybody else every experienced the pleasantries of gout.

Never and I hope I dont , I have a friend who has it often, A verry active fellow and It puts him in the recliner for days at a time.

I had it once after taking some vitamins. Don't know if that is what caused it, but have not had it since.

All politicians suffer from foot problems from time to time...they can get their foot so far down their mouths sometimes they need surgury to extract 'em.
