Checking tilt and trim on a Yamaha outboard

This outboard is a 1994 Yamaha, I just bought it last spring and I'm trying to check the tilt and trim fluid, never had an outboard in the past with a tilt/trim so I don't know what I'm doing...here are a few pics of it. Any help would be great.

It would help if you let everyone know what motor you are talking about and why you need to open up the sealed system, as unless they are leaking they do not need to be opened.

Model 40PLRS, 1994, I just want to make sure the level fluid level is ok

I would leave it alone unless there was a problem with it.
This is from a PT&T but maybe the same as your power tilt with no trim
