On a 40 Johnson, how do you check if the battery is charging? I put a voltmeter across the battery but it's only reading 12-12.5 vdc. Is this the correct way of doing it and if so what voltage should I be getting? Thank you.<br />Bronson7
Take her for a run. At wide open throttle, the voltage at the battery should climb well above 13 after a few minutes.(pending on how low the battery is)
