Please advise, The engine is a 2000 150 ficht.<br />I have been getting "check engine light" coming on each time I run more at 4000+ rpm for more than 5 minutes. I took it to dealer they checked the codes and said the voltage was too high 16+volts and the engine was getting too hot ~320 degrees. They said the cause was a bad emm. Had them replace the emm unit, both batteries and do an overall service tune up. I was hoping the issue was over. First time I took it out after the "fix" the light came on just like before. The engine runs fine at all rpm ranges and the light will either stay on after the signal or go out and come back on if I keep running for several miles. I checked back with the dealer and they said I was probably a bad sensor since the temp light never came on and the engine seems to run fine. They said bring it back and they will check the codes again, but I don't know if I should trust their judgement anymore...
