I just installed a Navman 2100 Fuel flow gauge on my 2003 Johnson 150. The instuction say sender must be installed between fuel filter and engine. Well I can't do that since the fuel filter is pretty much an intergral part of the carb manifold on that engine, so I installed it just before the primer bulb. Well now every 10-15 minutes the Check Engine alarm comes on. Manual for engine says thats a fuel restriction problem. What do you guys think? Am I just going to have to do without the gauge?
