Charging!!

OK I have a 1977 johnson 140 that I just had the powerhead rebuilt,, but know that I've got it running,, its not charging the battery!! Does anyone have any idea where to start troubleshooting?? or even better a schematic of the charging system?? <br /><br />Thanks for the help.. <br /><br />Tom

a manual would help. <br /><br />generally, if its not charging, check the rectifier... the manual has test's and such to perform on this...<br /><br />m ikey
