Charging system

I have a 1999 Sea-swirl with a 3.0 gs Volvo Penta. I had to rebuild the engine and now the battery keeps going dead. I had the alternator checked and it is fine. Not sure if I had or have the wires connected to the write terminals properly. Does anyone have a diagram or picture of the back of the alternator that I can reference it to or a web site?

What is the full model number or serial number of your engine? The letters after "GS" are important.

Like this, except you won't have the green wire on yours.
