The boat I am working on has decals saying it is 1984 187 XLC, I have tried to find pictures of another 187 or 197 XLC but everything comes up as a cuddy cabin. Did Chaparral make a 187 XLC that was not a cuddy cabin, looks to me like the XL was the bowrider and the XLC was the cuddy cabin. Also mine has a bench seat with a large sundeck, I first thought it was not factory but now think it may be. Hopefully there is a Chaparral person out there that can help. Thanks
