changing u-joints on volvo sx-a outdrive

I have removed the drive from the boat. Do I have to disassemble the unit to get the u-joint assembly off so I can change the joints. I do not have a manual so can I get a picture somewhere so I can proceed? Thanks

No you don?t have to disassemble to replace the u-joints --- BUT if the old u-joints failed due to water getting in them, water also might have gotten in the seal area and caused damage that you can?t see until its disassembled.
