Here is a manual for telflex gauges. The system design and theory is the same for 99% of the analog gauge systems out there in use. Pretty good manual and great troubleshooting methods.

Thank you so very much. Read thru instructions, think have one problem solved with voltmeter, think it may affect tach too. Will post more after test theory.

Yahoo, all my gauges are working except trim, which has not worked since I have owned boat. Still have some tidying up to do. Trim gauge has 4 volts on sending wire, according to manual need 5 to 7. PO had put new trim pump in, it works but not oe. On the pre alpa outdrives, sender in hydraulic ram I think.
