I’m new to this forum can someone please tell me where the Vin number is and if I have the right Vin number which would be HD780 can someone tell me where to look that up I cannot find any other number on this boat anywhere

Its likely your boat is pre 1972, so it wont have an original factory issued HIN. (HIN for boats, VIN for autos).

If it ever received a state issued HIN, at sale/transfer that state may have issued 1 for it.

If it ever got 1, and it was installed in the correct place, it'd be on the upper right (starboard) corner of the transom viewed from the stern.
