im looking at purchasing a 93 celebrity 180 bowrider with a 4.3 mercruiser v6. im looking for ANY information people could give about the boat. im not real familiar with celebrity boats in general. what could i expect for power, and top speed. thanks!

I have a 4.3 on an 18' I/O, I like it alot. It pull tubers pretty easily and gets on plane quickly. Tell us what your plans are for using the boat. Skiing, tubing, cruising, docking etc..., how many people in the boat, storage. I would also suggest you hire a marine surveyor to go over the boat to find any problems before purchasing. Sounds like a potentially great package. Your biggest concern is going to be rot in the wooden components of the hull. You want a solid deck, stringers and transom. ANY soft spots on the deck are usually indicative of more serious rot below. Check carefully.
