cdi part numbers

I have an 83 75hp chrysler 758h3f. I was wondering if a cd unit with the part # 523301-1 will fit this motor. I couldn't find any manufacturs name but it looks the same as the one on my motor(model #6cb2012b)but who knows what inside the ole black box..... thanks

My Rapair/CDI manual says that is the direct replacement for your part, heed the installation instructions when installing the new unit as many small thing can cause failure and one of them probably destroyed the first unit ans could do the same to the replacement--Bob
