Glad to hear you have her running nicely again, with out too much pain. Should get many more years out of her.

Also, be advised. Not a huge thing, but something to be aware of.... As engine components age together and compression decreases accordingly, "sometimes", after doing only a valve job on an older engine, the new higher compression may cause some blow by on the older rings and she "may" use a some / little more oil than before. This is not uncommon, just something to be aware of. Seen it many times when I was rebuilding engines.

Glad to hear it all worked out!

The low compression may have been a combination of valve lash being off, and "clean" cylinders (oil wiped out of them when you cleaned them up).

Bet the beast will run just fine like that for several seasons.
