Carver 2667 Uflex

I need to pickup a, new to me, 1986 Carver 2667 and need to bring an upper shift cable for replacement. (no reverse, Fly bridge to Helm) The controls are Uflex. Does any one know the length(s). There sometimes is a number on the cable. Thanks Ed

I'm assuming you have alower helm and all is fine?

Yes the lower helm works. I'm assuming the upper cable has too much sheath play for the push action needed for reverse. Do any of the cable manufacturers have reference data for old boats? Nice Montego.

Thanks. I'm no help on deciphering anything on the cable. Have you checked the action at both ends to make sure all is well there?

might want to contact Carver. They used to have old brochures and stuff on thier website but just looked and not there anymore.
