Hi all
Does anyone have an experience working with Carvana good, bad or ugly?
My daughter is in a jam and needs a new car but she’s in school in Indiana and I live in Massachusetts.
I hear they will ship it to her and I can still register it in Mass but I don’t know any one that has bought from them so haven’t heard anything about the experience.
Thx

I’ve looked into them. I’ve had customers come in with Carvana cars and they are so-so but Carvana actually pays to fix things. I was very close to buying a Ford Fiesta ( 5spd ) from them until I found my Mazda 2

My buddy sold his WRX to them for about $4k more than any other dealer.

Well I’m going to pass and play it safe. I’ll just stick with the dealer I have worked with for the past 35 years and go with a private shipping company.
Thx for your thoughts.

Only from selling side
Guy goes to dealer and dealer says I'll give $X

Calls Carvana and they say they give $Xxx if delivered and $Xx if we pick up. Sold to Carvana for more then dealer offered

I wish I could but have no time. I’m in the height of the season.
She was home for the summer and left about 10 days ago to start a new job. She is I her last year of training as a commercial pilot and working as a flight instructor at 2 different places and lives off campus as well. Public transport is no longer working out to get from Abc&d on time so she needs a car. I don’t have enough confidence in her currant car and I can’t be there to keep it going so here I am. I found her a 2016 Lexus today and can ship it up there for $1,000.

Check some of the hot rod sites about back hauling. $1000 is high. It only cost me $600 to get a car from Dallas Texas to Bradenton Florida

Not a bad idea.
The hauler that the dealer recommended wanted $2000.
I think Im screwed because of pick up location.
Cape Cod in the summer. I like to call it a surf charge. Everything cost more around here.
Where an outs are you in Bradenton?
I spend a lot time in Oneco at the flag ponds back in the day. I’m sure they are long gone now and it’s probably a sub division white own shopping mall.
Thx for tip
