Care to guess tire size?

If you've got a buddy with a wrecker, they have heavy duty dolly wheels on their wreckers that you can jack up each side of the trailer and place the bad wheels/tires on them and then strap them down for towing. You might be able to rent them from somewhere.

There is a insurance issue with paperwork I need 4 to 6 weeks to get sorted out before I can insure it, which is why the trailer. Otherwise I'd camp there fixing the running gear til I figured I would make it home.

With the conditions you describe, you have a 95% chance the boat is junk, rotted transom and stringers. Your getting it for free because that is much cheaper than the owner junking it himself. Sure you want that trouble just for a free trailer ??

I deleted the comment because it was vague, sorry u responded about the same time as the deletion. Boats home just got in the door.
