Carburator Identity

I have a 1987 Johnson 150 outboard. How do I tell if the carbs are Sierra or Mallory? I dont see a tag on them but there is a stencil number of 38.

Mallory and Sierra are aftermarket parts and not what you have if yours are original. At the time, OMC OE parts usually had the trademark stamp on them somewhere.
