Re: carb....where is it on the motor
I think I know what the carb looks like just not sure what to do. I will buy a book but that doesnt get me on the water today. I know how to fix the problem if I knew what was wrong. What I see is two carb flaps that are constantly open. They have controls but no wires going to the main control arm to open or close the flaps. there is a solinoid directly above the control arm. inside the solinoid is a rod in the shape of a cone. doesnt seem to have anything broken off. Like I said the boat ran for a half an hour now doesnt. the carb looks spotless. I've ajusted what I could with no success. I think I have to replace the gas line hoses from tank to engine. hose is old, and hard as a rock maybe not enough gas or too much oxygen. if I knew this to be the case I would replace and move on.
does anyone have a manuel???
