Hello.
Can anyone point me to a video or webpage, or anything that may be helpful in guiding me to rebuild the carbs on my 86 Yam 200hp? I recently got this engine not running but it turns and has good compression. I figured i would start with carbs since they seem sticky. Also going to check for spark. I am going to try sea foam first to see if it helps. Thanks in advance.
Les.

get the Yamaha service manual for your motor so you know all the spec and procedures if you plan on working on it yourself
need to link and sync every time you put the carbs back on.
make sure the fuel pumps are in good shape and clean , along with the fuel lines .
no need to get trash back in the carbs once you get them cleaned properly

Agreed^^^^. Sounds like you're a DIY'er, so a service manual specific to your engine is a must have. They can be downloaded online for about $10. I've used tradebit.com in the past with no issues.
