Have a Volvo aq130d, with twin solex down draught carbs, problem is there is no way of attatching a vacum guage to the inlet manifold so i need to balance the mixture manually, and would like to know the best way of doing this.<br />Thanks
Do you have a place where you can drill a hole in the intake? My Mercruiser 140 has a drilled and tapped hole right near the carb base. It has a pipe plug in it capping it off. I remove the plug when I need to hook up a vacuum gage. I install a barbed fitting and than hook to that. Maybe you can drill and tap a similar spot to install a gage? Than just use a pipe plug to seal it when you are finished.
