Carb question

1985 force 50;with the throttle wide open throttle plate is fully open,but you can move throttle cam past,almost close the throttle plate the other way is this normal?I coudn't find anything in the manual.

At wide open throttle the plate should be wide open. It is normal that the plate will go beyond this position but it should not by using the throttle.

Thanks again eurolarva,my Johnson motor isn't like that.glad I don't have to ask ya about carb parts.......for now anyway!
