Saving this one…!If the needle's fuel valve it's a fixed non removable one take advantage while servicing the carb to micropolish with toohpaste the internal valve's seat with a cottoned sushi wooden stick previously dampened in water, repeat the procedure rolling a new cotton onto the stick till comes out white clean.

This cleaning procedure along a new needle install and a correct float height match will stop any carb's fuel spills fully guaranteed...

No the clip won't work for new one .
Yeah it's different. Same size though. I'm gonna give it a try. Sorry I posted another thread on this and some say there's don't even have a clip and work fine. They say the replacement is heavier so it does not need the clip.
Found the elephant: last year one of my customers asks me to get a 97 120 started after it fell off the pontoon.No such thing as an outboard carburetor that can not be repaired.----Unless your pet elephant stepped on it.
