Re: Carb Cleaning - Rebuild
I always put down a clean towel to work on.
Since this is your first time do one at a time, one part at a time and don't hurry, there really isn't to much to them, I think it is harder to get them off than it is to clean them.
The key is clean clean clean, your hands, work area and tools.
Taking things apart is easy getting them back together is a little different so pay close attention to how everything is put together, especially your throttle linkage.
I have taken pictures of things before I start taking them apart so you have a reference.
When you take a screw or fastener out put it back in the hole if you can so you don't wind up with a pile of screws and don't know where they go.
3 carbs first time I would say no more than an hour and a half.
like I said there really isn't to much to them, take your time, one thing at a time, if you hit a snag come back and I'm sure someone will be glad to help you.
Good luck
