Carb Bowl seal problem HELP!!

Hi All my Classic 50 4 cylinder has had a problem with fuel leaking out of the carb bowl seal ,after taking the cards off the engine and removing he bowls I found the seals are shot!!!:mad: AND they are not availble here in NewZealand :mad-new:,what material can I use to make some new seals ??? I thought some kind of urethane or a paper gasket material??
All help would be awesome

Garlock is a common gasket material here and you should be able to find it at most any auto parts stores but it may be by a diffrent name there.

It is no longer worthwhile to sell that as a single item.-------Order a carburetor gasket set in order to get that part.

I had the same problem with my '77 Merc 500. There are 3 gaskets that can be suspect, the large one that fits on the bottom of the carb that the bowl seats against, and the two hard ring type that go both inside the middle of the bowl and on the outside of the bowl, both around the bowl bolt. Be sure you replace them all. I had a heck of a time getting mine to seal, my problem was with the 2 smaller gasket rings and it leaked out the center.
