November 10th. Opening day of rabbit and quail season. I'm ready for it. I just wish that the weather would cooperate just once. Every year it is in the high 40's to low 50' for two weeks before the season opens. The three or four days before it opens it always warms up to the middle 60'w to low 70's. This year is no exception. Supposed to be 68-70 on Friday. A little too warm for me to hunt in. Haven't missed an opening day in 34 years and am proud of it. I have been lucky in that I have always had a job that I could take off from. I can smell them fresh crittes frying up as I type.
