Can't locate tell tale 1992 25hp Yamaha

Hello all. I just bought a 1992 25hp Yamaha. I filled up a test tank today and it started right up with no problem. I shut it down in about 5 seconds because i saw no tell tale stream. I looked under the cowl everywhere and do not see a hole, hose, spout anything that would resemble a water outlet. All I see is the exhaust port hole about 10-12" under the engine cowl on the shaft. Can anyone help me out?

check for a rubber hose on the port side exhaust cover. Then follow it down.....

I'm certain my 1994 Yamaha 25 is on the starboard side. '92 may be different.
