Cant kill the engine

You have 2 kill switches connected at same time, one at engine other at remote box ? How about hooking the remote kill switch cables to the internal kill switch cables. Just using a dedicated single kill switch. Are all electrical ground contacts and powerhead grounds immaculate clean and shinny ?
