just got this boat its a thundercraft with a 2.5 mercruiser when i turn my key i get nothing but all the gauge lights the trim all work without even turning the key.I ran a wire to battery and solenode and it will crank over. so i thought the key switch i ran a wire from the red wire to the yellow/red wire and get nothing. so the red wire is ran to the ignition coil i belive thats right. i checked the red breaker next to the engine it seems to be in, cant push it in no farther. so does it seem to be my ignition coil is there a way to check them properly other than a ohm meter.. any suggestions
