Canoe Repair

I have a crack in my canoe that isn't leaking but would like to know the best way to repair it. Any help would be appreciated.

You could sand it down alittle, then fill it with epoxy and sand and paint. I'm not a 100% sure it will work in that area tho. someone will be along shortly with more detailed info. good luck.

It is fiberglass with a gel coat.

If it is 'glass' (FRP) then the best repair is from the inside (the crack doesn't look typical for FRP though). Grind down in a tapering fashion so there is almost no material thickness left where the crack is, then rebuild with a patch of new layups of glass & resin. I would use a progression of enlargening size pieces of glass.
