Can you search DMV records for a particular car

I had a 1989 Honda Civic SI when I turned 16. Loved that car. Now that I’m over 50, I want to relive my childhood I guess lol. Trying to find one (or a CRX) and while they come up for sale on BaT from time to time, I want to search records for who still owns one and contact the owner. I see that in Connecticut, you can do a FOIA request, but they omit the personal information it seems. I wanted to see if anyone else had other ideas. Thanks!

Who owns what car is personal information . . . which means it is protected from access by others. I don't think you are going to get what you are looking for. . . because it is personal information.

You cannot legally obtain that info. If you ask a friend police officer to obtain it for you on the sly, the officer would be jeopardizing his job if caught.

Golly gee wiz, the officer can find out how many and where (as in county location not actual address) , which can provide location only info
