What do you intend on doing with it? Restoring it would be a daunting project, challenging to say the least. Oh and very expensive. Interesting looking boat.
It would be a big project but looks like it might be worth it. Its not a fiberglass hull and with that in mind stripping it down bare metal might not be as daunting as fiberglass. Keep in mind I have never restored a boat other than spit and polish, lol, this looks to be a bit more than spit and polish.
It is an aluminum boat otherwise I wouldnt even be looking at it. I watched this boat go from beautiful to crap over the years. The floor has been removed but all of the aluminum runners are still attached and in great shape. The interior is gone but I wouldnt keep a bed in it anymore. Maybe "u" shaped benches down there instead. The rivets and aluminum are in great shape as there are no dents or anything. I have a spare motor that would be great on it so dont need to worry about that. What I liked about it is the style. I'm not used to seeing porthole windows on a vintage 21 ft aluminum boat. I have a 65 boat that I love. This is more of a take your time and bring it back to its glory. I'm not a flipper, so not really worried about resale.
Doesnt look like a "Texas Made". Its similar to an early Starcraft but still not quite. This boat has a fiberglass runner from the top to the rear of the boat. Almost like a little finn
Mine is aluminum also. I was making the point that they look similar. Thank you Scott for finding the make. It really helped out! Thanks for all the responses
