Can this be repaired or do I need to get a new crank cover? Can I get a new crank cover or will it not be an exact match to my block? I have a 2001 mercury 150 carb. F5353B3B-4382-4648-85F2-10F34751757D.jpeg

Your local qualified welding shop knows how to weld that.----There may be other methods of fixing it too.------What bolts onto it there?---How did it break ?

I believe the shift cable slide bracket connects to it. Not sure if that is what the actual term is, but where the cable connects to the block and the part slides to controls the throttle. It broke trying to pull the power head for a rebuild
