Under Way

I can see that one, 26, I think you have it down. Thanks. The bike was fun. Constantly avoiding deer not so much....... Had to lock up the wheels once to avoid a deer. I heard the hooves on the pavement. It was easier dealing with cars than deer......

So true, esp. here in PA  after a few yrs, of fun, my bike got caught in a river flood! a dead battery, totally under water for a week, because we were kept out by the police. Finally went in and salvaged it, put it in the back of a pickup, and took it home. The wheels were locked, so it was tough getting off the truck, then chained it to a tree at the end of my driveway. Got it all running again, it's amazing how the Honda held up none the worst for wear! I went to go up the driveway, and each time it stalled? I thought I blew the tranny? I ended up taking the back wheel off, and it was packed with river sand! I cleaned it all up, and it was as good as new. I sold it a yr, or so later to a friend, because I wasn't riding it much at the time.

then a few yrs later my friend sold the Shadow, and bought a 97' Vulcan 1500cc Cruiser, then he got tired of it, and I bought it off him. It was the Best, Baddest sounding bike, and Fast! Just like a Harley only better, because from the factory, it had a single crank pin, and used modern technology. I put a lot of miles on that bike, in a short time, then I felt that because my arthritic legs started to go bad, I couldn't ride it anymore  so I sold it a couple yrs ago. The only bad part about the Vulcan was it was only 4-speed. Around town it was annoying, not so much on the road,,, The 98's came with 5-speed.

I wish I could ride again, I used to love to ride my bikes, but after getting shot, never could get the left leg to work right to actually sit on a bike again, but I sure do miss those days, used to love to ride with my wife who had her own bike. Been fun reading this.

My 1st Bike, back in 1972 I picked up an almost new (1000 miles) Red Kawasaki 350cc 3cylinder 2cycle for $900. It was the little brother of "the fastest bike in the world" at the time, the Kawasaki 750cc 2cycle H2.-12sec qtr. It would do a wheelie on demand, and the qtr. mile in 13.5 secs . I put a couple thousand miles on it, then sold it because I had no place to keep it, plus the hassles from the wife, the kids loved it of course, It was just like the pony express for the kids, each time before my rides.
I used to drive it to work from Babylon, L.I. to Brooklyn N.Y. about 60miles, whenever the weather was nice. It was over 20yrs later, after my divorce that I got my next bike.

Dodge, on my end, posts 6 & 8 have NO pix, just the word attachment in blue, that's a clickable link, but it goes to an invalid page. That's a server processing error, that occasionally occurred prior to the update.

Post 9 DOES have a pix, but based on the content of your post, you KNOW PB works. It's just frustrating that you can't get it to work in a way that you can post from work.

Agree, real frustrating. Managed to get some postings yesterday by doing what I mentioned and now nothing. Go figure, if I select "edit" I can see the picture posted, but after saving it just says attachment.

Trying to remember what I did to get pix off my computer?
Okay, I used the camera icon, then hit the "upload" button brought up my computer pix, clicked on this, and it attached as a thumbnail.

Yes I did a test post, and then deleted it. It's possible you just happened to look at it right when I deleted it.
