I've tried every which way but loose! With no luck? Lets see, I tried the camera, the paper clip, the clipboard, and the big A
Using the pix on my computer, or from photobucket, but nothing has showed up? Unless a bunch of people are messing with me

Have you tried copy and pasting it? Like I did for you yesterday. http://forums.iboats.com/forum/othe...-may-or-maynot-be-there?p=7680761#post7680761

Yes, I will show you . . .

Best thing is to have a place on the web (like photobucket) to upload your photos to. I have my own web site that is part of my comcast account . . .

Then when you want to include one of those photos in a thread you put "
" around the URL for the photo.

Here is an example of what you would put in your message . . .

I have left out the starting and ending "[" "]" so that you can see what it actually looks like

if I put those 2 characters in at the beginning and end then you get the actual picture . . . like this

IMG_4337.jpg

As soon as I saw that the camera and paper clip tools were not working, I went to this approach using the IMG coding. the tools should do the same thing for you automatically, but they have not been working so good.

I just tried the copy/paste and that seems to work too. :thumb:

It puts the IMG coding in for you automatically.

If you click on the A button (Font tool) in the upper right of the message after you copy/paste ,

then image and then click the source tool "< >" all the way to the left,

you can see the IMG code that the software put in for you automatically when you did the paste into the body of the message.

If you select the clip board in the upper right corner of the message area, two buttons will open up (upload attachments and upload from url). If you select attachments you can go to your computer and select an image, then select which size to use. This is Large and it always puts it on top of the message no matter where you want it to go. You can then grab it and move it to the bottom as I did here

Thanks gents, but I do have a photobucket account, doesn't anyone ever look at my signature? I did this yesterday, (cut & pasted) into the message body from P.B., but no one responded if they saw my picture?

From P.B. After vaseline picture!

Dodge, on my end, posts 6 & 8 have NO pix, just the word attachment in blue, that's a clickable link, but it goes to an invalid page. That's a server processing error, that occasionally occurred prior to the update.

Post 9 DOES have a pix, but based on the content of your post, you KNOW PB works. It's just frustrating that you can't get it to work in a way that you can post from work.

That pix I can see just fine, but it's an attachment that must be opened.... So I opened it, right clicked the pix & choose copy image. Lets try a paste into my post:

Is that a Magna or a Shadow?

1986 Honda Shadow 1100cc 5 spd. Jardine Rumblers on it, not too loud, just right! The last year of high compression, I think it had 70hp from the factory. My previous bike was an 81' Yamaha Maxum 750cc ratty condition, but only 3k miles on it, & mechanically perfect, & Fast!

I've always like Shadows. Bought my one and only in '03, new. Then I saw an ad that fall for '68 GTO. Wanted $7k or trade for bike. Told him what I had and made the deal, even up. He lost on that one...... Told the wife I would trade the bike "if" someone wanted to get rid of their car...... Looked just like this one:
