Hi all. I was wondering what the make and model this boat is. No HIN or registration numbers. Only identifying mark is the Validation sticker but I called the Texas Boating office and it's no longer in the system. Any help identifying it would be appreciated! 20210519_131536.jpg20210519_131517.jpg20210519_131748.jpg

Money pit and Russian roulette all in one. Texas iirc you need to bond the title and that is rolling the dice
Good thing I'm registering it in Florida.

And I know I'm gonna spend a ton of money but I have the right tools and a lot of free time. Plus, she still floats and no holes in the hull.

You are correct! Thank you! After searching Chris-Craft fishing boats, found out it's an early 80s Chris-Craft 315 Commander Sport Fish.
Then it should have a HIN stamped into the transom and coming from Texas w out a HIN and proper paperwork seems odd.

You should know what vessel it is if you are buying and registering it or am I missing something? Cant register without a title.

From my knowledge, if you come across an abandoned vessel in Florida and notify law enforcement, if no one claims the vessel, you can assume ownership. A state trooper will inspect the HIN, or assign one if the HIN is missing, for you to create a title in your name. In this case, the previous property owner had this abandoned vessel after Hurricane Michael. The new property owner wanted it gone and is giving me the vessel for free. But it is "abandoned" with no paperwork and also out of the Texas state registry as well as the Florida state registry, and also has no identification numbers.
