In the market for a small ob/boat. Came across the following. I know nothing about the motor (and very little about o/b's in general), could someone give me a little info as far as vintage (looks late 70's?), reliability, trouble spots, parts availability, etc? thanks!

The only negatives is that it doesn't have shallow drive or through-hub exhaust, or a propshaft hp rating, which are all 3 not that big of a deal. Otherwise that's one of the most reliable 25hp outboards there is. Run it before you buy it. The clutch dogs on those seem to go bad after 20 or 30 years. :)
Great motors, easy to work on.

It does have a shallow drive. a little lever that hides on the midsection, starboard side. you flip it down and it will rest on the trim adjustment pin

$300-500 here if it's running well; it's a very popular size--practically speaking it's the biggest almost portable pull start motor
