I have been lurking in the shadows for about a month now and just couldn't take it any longer. I decided after reading about everyone elses projects that I would just rip out my transom so I can be one of the guys. I felt kinda funny rippin out a perfectly good transom, but hey I wante to fit in!! Just kidding, it was rotting from the inside out and had rotted about 2 plies of the first layer of five ply plywood. I have removed the first layer of plywood from the inside and am almost ready to start putting it back together as soon as it dries out a little better. The second and final layer of plywood is still behind a layer of glass and is still as solid and dry as the day it was made.
Do I need to submit pictures or am I "in"??
I am very thankful to all who have posted the how-to's of transom repair! I have searched and read EVERY single last post on the subject here on Iboats. Thanks

Is JB gunna move this post?
Tim
