can i cut these out

I need more storage for my boat see the wall beside the gas tank and other side behind battery can I cut those out does it have 2 be there I think its just a wood frame withfoam inside. and it stops about 6 inches from the top of fiberglass.

They are there for floatation only....personally I wouldn't remove them, but many on here have. So to answer your question YES you can remove them, without any problem. It's just that I like the added safety of them.

Im with cad, i wouldnt remove. at lest not all together. maybe cut out a little foam and insurt one of those molded plastic boxes. they make all sizes.

Ya I was just planning on cutting out a square from the front section big enough to shove a manta ray tube in it and on other side like a hidden compartment to store things in any pics people have that's done this or something please post it thanks.
